Ororo has announced its first Heated Baselayer Collection, featuring heated lightweight tops and bottoms for men and women.
Powered by ororo’s UL-certified rechargeable batteries, the new collection is designed for everyday wear and versatility.
“Warmth starts with your first layer, and when prepping to be active outdoors in cold weather, feeling bulky with a limited range of motion is the last thing you want,” said ororo design director Adrienne Klein.
“ororo’s Heated Baselayer Collection makes layering easy with fitted silhouettes that may even replace your favorite quarter-zip or leggings. The heating elements in these pieces provide an extra layer of warmth that allows you to layer less, providing additional freedom of movement and comfort for all-day wear. The Men’s and Women’s Quarter Zip Heated Baselayer Top features lightweight, soft brushed stretch fabric that feels smooth against the skin and ergonomic raglan sleeves that allow for a natural range of motion. The quarter-zip mockneck long-sleeve fits close to the body without adding bulk, making it an ideal base layer that can also be worn on its own during cooler days. Two heating zones on the upper back and lower back deliver up to 17.5 hours of warmth. Powered ororo’s rechargeable battery, the side battery pocket is discreetly located for a streamlined, clean fit. Available in black, the top is available in women’s sizing small to XL and men’s sizing small to 3XL.
ororo’s Heated Baselayer Bottoms for men and women feature the same stretchy, lightweight fabric used in the Quarter Zip Top with ergonomic panelling that follows the body’s natural shape and movement. Flatlock seam construction reduces friction and chafing, making this a suitable layer to wear on its own or as a base layer with additional outerwear layers on top. A wide, high-rise waistband creates a secure and supportive fit that is comfortable throughout the day for extended wear. Three heating zones target the left and right knees and the lower back, providing up to 7.5 hours of heating, with a discreet battery pocket located on the lower left hip.
