Winter is coming, and global outdoor accessories brand BUFF is launching a range of balaclavas.

There are five different designs focussing on warmth, breathability, and comfort.

Designed with input from its athlete team, and tested in the Alps, the balaclava line is suitable for the windiest conditions to cooler days.

“As a leader in head and face protection, our consumers know and love the BUFF brand for providing the best fabric, technical performance, and stylish colours. New for Fall/Winter 27, we’ve added two additional styles; the 100% Merino Mid Weight balaclava and the super versatile Tech Fleece balaclava, incorporating BUFF’s legendary technology into each piece,” said Don Maneth, director of sales for BUFF North America.

Merino Lightweight

Suitable for milder temps, the Merino Lightweight balaclava features 100% merino wool that self-regulates temperature and resists odour.

Merino Midweight Hinged

The Merino Midweight Hinged balaclava is constructed with flatlock seams for under-helmet fit, and made with 100% merino wool.

Thermonet Hinged

The hinged balaclava is made with PrimaLot insulating fibres and is lightweight and breathable.

Windproof

For harsh, windy days, the Windproof Balaclava taps into Pertex Aeros technology which blocks the wind. Breathable ventilation holes ensure comfort with movement.

Tech Fleece Hinged

The new Tech Fleece Hinged was designed to be comfortable under helmets. A deep hinge ensures a wide range of mobility between the face/neck and headpiece. The dual-fabric blend features BUFF Thermonet technology in the head piece, with a soft fleece face/neck gaiter for the bottom half.

The range is available now in specialty retail and on BUFF.com.
