Rab launches collection with UV protection and heat management for the mountains

UK outdoor brand Rab is expanding its spring/Ssummer 2026 range with an updated first layer collection designed to perform across sun exposure, heat and high‑output movement. Built around three fabric technologies, the SS26 first layers offer a system for long days outdoors in warm conditions.

At the heart of the sun‑protection story is Dryflo Solar, Rab’s UV‑protective fabric engineered to keep wearers shielded from harmful rays when exposure is highest. Rated to UPF40+, Dryflo Solar is breathable and wicking, helping regulate body temperature while providing reliable sun protection.

For faster‑moving pursuits, Rab’s SS26 range also features Dryflo Air, developed specifically for high‑energy summer activities. This lightweight fabric offers rapid drying performance and odour control, supporting comfort during intense movement in hot conditions – from mountain running to technical alpine approaches.

Completing the system is Dryflo Active, designed to optimise the balance between comfort and performance. With a quick‑drying, breathable construction and a natural next‑to‑skin feel, Dryflo Active provides an adaptable solution for everyday outdoor use, travel and variable summer conditions.

The SS26 first layer collection includes multiple styles designed for different user needs: Force collection (Dryflo Solar) – UV protection for prolonged sun exposure; Sonic and Sonic Ultra collections (Dryflo Air) – rapid-drying performance for high-output activities; and Crimp and Rivelin collections (Dryflo Active) – all-around comfort for versatile use.
