OtterBox has introduces Sole Series, a new phone case for outdoor adventure.
Taking cues from footwear and tactile outerwear, Sole Series blends elements of performance, expression and protection.
“Sole Series was designed to reflect the duality of our brand. OtterBox was born out of a passion for outdoor adventure and a commitment to rugged protection, but our cases continue to evolve with modern style,” said John Fitzgerald, senior manager of creative product design at OtterBox.
“For this collection, we drew inspiration from sneaker culture’s bold colours and layered construction, incorporating tread-like textures and rugged materials that feel just as at home on a trail as they do on city streets.”
Built with a multi-layered construction, Sole Series features a protective PET backing wrapped in durable performance nylon, a grippy rubber bumper with treaded detailing and a speckled stone powder finish to mimic the outsole of a classic sneaker. Designed for versatility and performance, the cases are tested to five times the military drop standard, are MagSafe compatible and include an integrated Camera Control button on iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 models for seamless picture taking. For added convenience and carry options, each case comes with a removable lanyard loop engraved with the coordinates of the OtterBox headquarters in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Made with 85% recycled plastic, Sole Series delivers protection with a sustainable edge. The collection supports a variety of the latest iPhone models and comes in four distinct colours: Fairplay (olive green), Real Quiet (blue), Midnight Circuit (black) and Xtra Hot (pink).
