British outdoor brand Rab has opened its first-ever customer-facing Rab Service Centre.

Located in Winnington, Cheshire, the new facility changes the way Rab serves its customers by making professional care and repair services directly accessible to the public.

The new centre is designed to serve as a blueprint for future locations, and offers the same product-extending repairs with the added convenience of in-house experts ready to assist customers on-site.

“We’ve been offering aftercare services for our gear since the 1980s, a tradition that began with our founder, Rab Carrington,” said Matt Clarke, head of customer experience at Rab.

“This new service centre represents the next evolution in our commitment to product longevity and a conscious approach to outdoor gear use.”

Rab said the move highlights its “dedication to circularity in the outdoor industry,” making care and repair services more accessible to the general public. Globally, Rab is already repairing more than 13,500 products and washing more than 8,400 products annually in its service centres across the UK, US, The Netherlands, and Canada, with these numbers increasing year-on-year.

The new service centre hosts some of the most advanced laundry equipment in the industry. Starting next month, Rab will also launch wash services for non-Rab products in their UK service centres for the first time, with plans to roll this out globally as capacity allows.
