UK backpack specialist Lowe Alpine has updated the AirZone Trail range for spring/summer 2023.
While keeping the features of the AirZone carry system, the eight packs for men and women feature a new carry system that the company said creates superior ventilation, breathability and comfort. The packs, designed for hiking and all-mountain adventures, are now available.
Based on lab and field testing, the new packs have undergone an update, which the company said results in greater comfort accompanied by a fresh design. The AirZone carry system’s new convection channel allows heat and warm air to escape out of the top. A vent hole between the user’s shoulders encourages heat dissipation, improving air flow, reducing heat build-up and keeping the back panel cooler than older models. Also, reducing the harness’ contact area by 10% helps keep the user comfortable. A new harness foam and construction provide ‘support and long-term performance.’

The new AirZone Trail packs feature a 50% recycled nylon body fabric and a polyester lining fabric. All AirZone Trail packs are fluorocarbon free.
