Joma has developed an outdoor line with mountain footwear that reflect the brand’s evolution towards more technical and complete models suitable for demanding routes and in adverse weather conditions.
The new models feature a more advanced construction and a higher level of protection, aimed at enhancing the experience on long routes, uneven terrain and more demanding use scenarios.
As part of this evolution, technologies such as Aislatex are integrated into product development, providing waterproof protection and comfort on wet terrain without compromising breathability. This is complemented by reinforced materials such as ripstop mesh, a sock-like fit, and midsoles with cushioning and responsiveness technologies.
There are five new models:
● Rase AX. A combination of robust structure and waterproof protection, ideal for those seeking maximum protection and stability on demanding routes.
● Rase AX3. An added technical boost thanks to its reinforcements and superior support, designed for complex terrain and advanced trekking.
● Sierra AX3. Its key advantage is the balance between cushioning, grip and durability, making it a versatile option for high-level hiking.
● TK Sima AX. Excels due to its lightweight design and sock-like fit, offering comfort and freedom of movement without sacrificing waterproof performance.
● Tundra AX. Focused on long routes and changing conditions, combining traction, long-lasting comfort and waterproof protection.
Thanks to the Aislatex membrane, these models offer waterproof protection and comfort in adverse conditions. Designed to act as a barrier against water, it keeps the foot dry without sacrificing breathability during activity. The footwear combines an upper made of ripstop mesh, built to withstand wear on technical surfaces, with strategic reinforcements that enhance durability and protection with every step.
This is complemented by a sock-like fit that improves support and adapts to the natural movement of the foot on long routes. The construction is completed with midsoles equipped with cushioning and responsiveness technologies, promoting a more comfortable and efficient stride, and with high-traction outsoles developed to ensure grip and stability on uneven or slippery terrain.
