“Can I bring my dog on this hike?”
“Do I need a parking permit?”
“Will there be many people on the trail?”
Many hikers have questions like these about what to expect in the great outdoors.
AllTrails has now integrated Apple Intelligence in the US to help answer a host of questions.
Available on iOS for iPhone 15 Pro and later, the new experience lets AllTrails members ask questions right from a trail page and get instant conversational responses about what to expect for parking, crowds, wildlife, and more.
AllTrails members can now ask a question on trail pages in the app. Apple Intelligence quickly finds the most relevant details, sourced from the AllTrails trail information and community reviews, and delivers a clear answer. The feature works online and offline, making it easier to stay informed even when service drops.
“People come to AllTrails to get outside with confidence,” said James Graham, chief technology officer at AllTrails.
“With Apple Intelligence, we’re making it even easier to get quick, trustworthy answers right when you need them—so you can spend less time planning and more time out there.”
The Apple Intelligence integration turns AllTrails trail pages into interactive planning tools. Whether confirming logistics or adjusting plans on the fly, the experience helps hikers get outside faster. Ask a question is now available in English on iOS for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 17 running iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence enabled. Additional languages will be rolling out in the coming weeks.
