Coros has launched its new APEX 4 GPS watch.
It features grade 5 titanium with reinforced lugs, sapphire glass, and a memory-In-pixel display designed to perform in sun, snow, and shadows.
It includes enhanced vertical GPS algorithms, dual-frequency tracking, and a dual-range barometer for accuracy in forests, couloirs, and alpine walls.
Its battery lasts up to 65 hours in All-Systems GPS (46mm) or 41 hours for the 42mm case size. It has global topographic and landscape maps with street names with turn-by-turn navigation, POIs, and street and trail names.
There are dedicated modes and tools for trail running, climbing, and ski touring, plus advanced training, sleep, recovery, and readiness insights. It also has audible pace and turn alerts, voice notes, and hands-free calling.
The fourth-generation APEX introduces significant improvements across both hardware and software. A titanium bezel and sapphire glass combine with an upgraded processor to deliver durability, strength, and the fastest mapping experience in its class. It also has extended battery life, a new satellite chipset, plus a built-in speaker and microphone.
“COROS APEX 4 has undergone rigorous testing, built on years of experience, athlete feedback, and technological advancement to become the premier watch capable of helping the world’s best mountain athletes perform at their highest level,” said Lewis Wu, COROS CEO and co-founder.
“Every decision behind APEX 4 — from materials to battery life to software — was made with the mountain endurance athlete in mind.”
COROS APEX 4 will be available in two sizes, 42mm and 46mm, at www.corosnordic.com and select retailers. The 42mm version has an RRP of €469, while the 46mm watch has an RRP of €529.
